Please give me suggestions Well, when i turn on my Notebook the scrolling function on the touchpad is not working, also other special functions like the finger flicks and stuff. It will all just work when i go to the control panel, open the software 'not making any changes' and click OK. When i did my research, i cannot find any satisfactory solutions, I just ended up creating a shortcut of the software to my startup so when i open the notebook again from shut down ill just wait for it to load and Click OK again. Is there any other permanent solution out there, I dont want to be stuck opening the Notebook and have this software always appear so i can just click okay for the scroll to work. Appreciate your replies! This is really good all my problems seems to be having a solution. Just one more problem maybe ill try to do another post for it, its about the power option in the control panel, before i was able to access and change the plan settings, then suddenly a message is showing stating 'your power plan settings isn't available' yesterday again its working just fine but again today again im showing this message. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt.

Anyone knows how to fix it? Hi, I also have the same problem.

My scrolling doesn't work unless I go into the Synaptics folder and click on 'SynTPEnh.' I've been doing this for the past week everytime I turn on my laptop in order to get the scrolling to work. I've already double checked and Synaptics is checked off as part of the Startup Sequence. And I looked under the Synaptics settings in the Taskbar and the settings all seem fine.

The only thing I don't understand is making my own Profile. Where do I find this option? Is it under the Synaptics properties? I saw that chialossus just re-installed the driver. Is there another option before I resort to that?

Designated, I've not heard of anyone using the executable to instate scrolling. I think you are at a point where you might benefit from installing the dirver for your system.
